Father speaks out after bullet nearly hits twin toddler at Bronx homeless shelter

Isaiah, the father, described the frightening moment, feeling the vibration of the bullet whizzing by and hearing glass shatter. A bullet penetrated the wall, traveled across the room, and exited through a window. This close encounter with gun violence left him and his children shaken.

In the immediate aftermath, Isaiah instinctively dropped to the floor, pulling his daughter from the stroller and covering her for safety. He recounted how terrifying it was to think about the potential consequences if he had been standing up at that moment.
