Man steals over $1K in lottery tickets from convenience store, Akron police say

Akron Police are seeking assistance in identifying a man suspected of stealing over $1,500 worth of lottery tickets earlier this month. The incident occurred on March 16 around 9:30 a.m. at Damak Mini Mart, located at 212 E. Tallmadge Avenue.

During the theft, the man reportedly took four rolls of lottery tickets valued at more than $1,500 before fleeing the scene on foot. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the suspect or the incident to come forward.
