MOSS POINT, Miss. (WLOX) - The Moss Point Police Department has announced upgraded charges against two suspects in the murder case of 23-year-old Demond Taveion Ross. Ross was killed on the afternoon of March 22 during an altercation involving a group of women. As he attempted to break up the fight, he was assaulted by multiple individuals and later struck by a vehicle while trying to help another victim escape.

Initially, three individuals were arrested and charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident, but one has since been released. The remaining two suspects, along with a new arrest, now face charges of second-degree murder as the investigation continues.

The police are actively seeking three additional suspects who are also facing second-degree murder charges. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the case to come forward.
