Man, woman arrested after tow truck driver was run over, police say

A tow truck driver was injured after being run over while attempting to repossess a vehicle in Memphis on March 26. Memphis Police responded to the incident at approximately 7:55 a.m. on Cabana Circle, where they discovered the victim, who was subsequently taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
According to police reports, the incident occurred as the tow truck driver was hooking his vehicle to a 2011 Ford Fusion. A woman allegedly shouted to a man to "Hurry up," prompting him to get into the Ford Fusion and run over the tow driver while he was underneath the vehicle.
Brandi Revels, 27, and Nicholas Wray, 34, have both been charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident. Their actions led to serious consequences, highlighting the dangers of repossession work.
The Ford Fusion involved in the incident was located later on Oakmont Place and was subsequently towed to a city lot for safekeeping. Investigations by the police continue as they gather further details on the incident.
