Minor injured after shooting on Church Court

A minor has been hospitalized following a shooting incident near Church Court in Louisville, as confirmed by the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD). Officers responded to a 911 call reporting the shooting around 9:28 a.m. on Saturday in the 7200 block of Church Court.
While en route to the scene, authorities learned that a young boy had already been transported to UofL Health on Dutchmans Lane with a gunshot wound. The boy sustained a wound to his arm and was later admitted to the University of Louisville Hospital, where his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Squad is currently leading the investigation. Authorities believe that all individuals involved in the incident have been accounted for at this time.
The police are urging anyone who may have information regarding the shooting to come forward by calling 502-574-LMPD (5673). Anonymous reports can also be submitted online.
Additionally, anyone who was in the vicinity during the time of the incident and may have captured footage can share that evidence through the tip portal or by contacting LMPD directly.
