LAS VEGAS -- Victoria Goodwin, the wife of "Ghost Adventures" star Aaron Goodwin, faced court this week after being charged in connection with a murder plot against her husband. She was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder after police discovered her involvement in a "murder for hire" scheme targeting Aaron.

Victoria Goodwin, who is currently held on a $100,000 bail, was taken into custody on March 6 in Nevada. Court records indicate an initial hearing occurred on Tuesday. According to a police report, investigators found that she had allegedly conspired to murder her husband with an inmate in Florida, who was to be paid $11,000 for the act.

Text messages between Victoria and the inmate revealed discussions about the conspiracy, with plans for her to make an initial payment of $2,500. The police report indicates that she had developed feelings for the inmate and believed her husband would not agree to a divorce, which sparked her drastic intentions.

After her arrest, Victoria initially claimed not to have intended for her husband to be killed, asserting that she was simply daydreaming about a different situation during a rough patch in their marriage. In court, she stated that she didn't remember sending the incriminating messages, even as investigators outlined her role in the plot.

Following Victoria's arrest, Aaron Goodwin filed for divorce. The couple has been married since 2022. The case is set for a status check on April 8, as it continues to garner public attention.
