Bakersfield police investigate early morning shooting, victim in stable condition

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) -- In the early hours of March 29, 2025, the Bakersfield Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the vicinity of V Street and 4th Street.

Upon their arrival, officers found an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. He was promptly taken to a nearby hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.

Authorities are currently conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident. At this point, no additional details have been released.
