Rapper Young Scooter Passes Away Following Leg Injury While Evading Atlanta Police - Internewscast Journal

ATLANTA -- A man has died following a leg injury sustained while fleeing from police on Friday evening, according to Atlanta Police. The individual has been identified as Kenneth Edward Rashaad Bailey, who was also known by his stage name, Young Scooter. The exact cause of death has yet to be determined by the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office.

Police indicated that they responded to a report of a dispute at a residence in Atlanta, where shots were possibly fired. As officers arrived, Bailey took off running, prompting a brief foot chase. Officers located him shortly after with a significant leg injury, although they reported that no weapons were discharged during the incident.

Emergency responders immediately provided assistance by applying a tourniquet to Bailey's injury before transporting him to a hospital. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
