US babysitter finds man under bed after child complains of 'monster'

In an alarming incident in Great Bend, Kansas, a babysitter discovered a man hiding under a child's bed while trying to calm a young one who was scared of a "monster." The 27-year-old suspect, Martin Villalobos Junior, was found by the babysitter when she attempted to reassure the child that there was nothing under the bed.
Villalobos, who had previously lived at the residence, was prohibited from visiting due to a restraining order. Following the shocking encounter, he fled the scene, but authorities were able to apprehend him the next day in the vicinity of the home.
According to the Barton County Sheriff's Office, the incident escalated when the babysitter confronted the hiding man, resulting in a struggle during which a child was accidentally knocked over. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
Villalobos faces multiple charges, including kidnapping, burglary, battery, and child endangerment. He is currently being held at the Barton County Jail with a bond set at $500,000 as the investigation continues.
