Police officer, guard injured in fights at Pentagon City Mall, police detain 3 teens

Several fights erupted at Pentagon City Mall on Saturday night, prompting a swift response from the Arlington County Police Department, who brought in dozens of officers to manage the situation and evacuate the premises.

At approximately 7:20 p.m., an Arlington Alert was issued, indicating that large crowds were causing disturbances. Video footage showed police arresting multiple individuals allegedly involved in the altercations.

According to a preliminary police report, three juveniles have been taken into custody. During the chaos, both a police officer and a mall security guard sustained injuries.

In light of the incidents, law enforcement is continuing their investigation, and as a precaution, the mall has been closed to the public.
