Chadrick Arsenio Hall, 34, was arrested early today in Gainesville, Florida, for allegedly violating a domestic violence injunction and making threats against the officer who transported him to jail. According to police, Hall had been ordered to have no contact with the victim since 2015 but entered the Aloha Liquor Store on March 28, where he engaged in an argument with her and another individual, despite the prohibition.

Store surveillance footage revealed Hall purchasing alcohol, in violation of his probation conditions, which include a curfew and a ban on alcohol consumption. After the altercation, Hall was apprehended at the Havana Wine & Cigar Lounge. During questioning, he acknowledged knowing about the no-contact order yet insisted he didn’t realize the victim was in the store when he entered.

While being transported to jail, Hall allegedly threatened the arresting officer, claiming it was his wedding night and stating he would shoot and put out a hit on the officer if he wasn't released. He further threatened to physically confront the officer and made other aggressive comments during the ride. Upon arrival at the jail, he reportedly continued to harass staff.

Hall has a significant criminal history, with 11 felony convictions, six of which are violent, and five misdemeanor convictions. He has completed five state prison sentences, with his most recent release in December 2024. Hall is currently on probation until June 2026 due to prior battery and robbery convictions.

A judge has set Hall's bail at $20,000 following these recent allegations.
