Investigators seek new leads in 1988 murder case of Terri Roark found on I-87 Twin Bridges

Investigators are seeking new leads in a 37-year-old cold case involving the murder of 31-year-old Terri Roark. New York State Police and Saratoga Police are revisiting the circumstances surrounding her death, which was ruled a homicide after her body was discovered on March 29, 1988, in the northbound lanes of I-87 Twin Bridges in Halfmoon.
On the same day that Terri was found, authorities located a bag containing her personal belongings approximately 11 miles away near I-87. This grim discovery has led to ongoing efforts to uncover the details of her tragic fate.
Terri Roark hailed from Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and was last seen on March 21, 1988, when she left a mental health facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The timeline leading up to her death raises questions that investigators are eager to answer.
