Fall River police find knife and shell casings after shots fired incident
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WJAR) -- Fall River police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred on Friday night. Officers from the Patrol Bureau were dispatched to the 100 block of Covel Street around 10:00 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire.
Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots, specifically noting four distinct shots. In response, police conducted a thorough search of the surrounding area to gather evidence.
During their search, authorities uncovered a knife and four shell casings at the intersection of Haffards and Donnelly Streets. However, no individuals were found at the scene of the incident.
