Foster man accused of DUI with child in the car, hit and run

A man from Foster has been charged with driving under the influence after a hit-and-run incident that occurred on Saturday night. Frank Campagnone was arrested by Rhode Island State Police at around 10:30 p.m. for failing to stop after an accident involving an attended vehicle.

Following the hit-and-run, Warwick Police located Campagnone's vehicle and subsequently took him into custody. He faces charges not only for the hit-and-run but also for driving under the influence of alcohol with a child under 12 in the vehicle.
