Woman seeks help in finding who shot and killed her younger brother in Olney

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Over three months have passed since a tragic shooting claimed the life of Talik Bridges in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood. His older sister, Talicia Bridges, is now appealing for assistance in finding her brother's killer.
The heartbreaking incident occurred on Christmas Eve when Talik was fatally shot while en route to catch a bus at C Street and Roosevelt Boulevard. Talicia received a frantic call from Talik's younger sister, Tori, informing her of the shooting. Despite her desperate attempts to reach Talik, he did not respond, and he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Talicia recalls that Talik was on a group FaceTime call with friends when the gunfire erupted, although his camera was off. She describes him as a respectful and helpful individual who stayed away from trouble, making his untimely death all the more incomprehensible to the family.
In an effort to bring justice to Talik's family, the Philadelphia Police, in collaboration with the Citizens Crime Commission, are offering a $20,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction related to his murder. Talicia hopes that the public will come forward with details that will aid in solving this case.
The family remains devastated by the loss and continues to seek closure as they remember Talik, whose kind nature and respectful demeanor left a lasting impact on those who knew him.
