WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WKYT) - A man has been arrested for allegedly threatening attendees at a funeral in Williamsburg. Police received reports of a heavily armed individual making threats on Friday and responded promptly to the situation.

The suspect, identified as 49-year-old Daniel Graiber from Wheaton, Illinois, was arrested after police learned he had traveled from Illinois to Kentucky. During his journey, Graiber had reportedly stopped at two gun stores, attempting to purchase a 100-count drum magazine.

Upon arrival at the funeral, Graiber inquired about the specific arrival time of family members at the visitation, raising further suspicions. Authorities intervened quickly and arrested him to ensure the safety of those attending the event.

In addition to the threats, Graiber allegedly impersonated a law enforcement officer, claiming connections to the CIA, FBI, and Kentucky State Police. During the investigation, officers discovered various items, including a law enforcement-style tactical ballistic vest.

The Williamsburg Police Department, in conjunction with the FBI, is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
