WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WKYT) - A 49-year-old man, Daniel Graiber from Wheaton, Illinois, is in custody after allegedly threatening attendees at a funeral in Williamsburg. The Williamsburg Police Department received reports of a heavily armed individual making alarming threats on Friday.

Upon further investigation, officers learned that Graiber had traveled from Illinois to Kentucky, stopping at two gun stores en route to purchase a 100-count drum magazine. He arrived at the funeral where he inquired about the specific arrival time of family members attending the visitation.

When alerted to his presence, police took action to apprehend Graiber before any harm could occur. They found that he had been impersonating a law enforcement officer, claiming to work with the CIA and having affiliations with the FBI and Kentucky State Police.

During the arrest, authorities recovered several suspicious items from Graiber, including a tactical ballistic vest and other accessories relevant to the investigation.

The case is currently under investigation by both the Williamsburg Police and the FBI, with updates expected as more information becomes available.
