Two shot to death in Seattle nightclub parking lot, suspect on the run

Early Sunday morning, a tragic double homicide occurred in a nightclub parking lot in Seattle's Rainier Beach neighborhood, leading to a police investigation. Officers from the Seattle Police Department responded to reports of a shooting around 3:30 a.m. in the 9200 block of Rainier Ave. S.
Upon their arrival, authorities found a security guard with multiple gunshot wounds and, while administering medical assistance, discovered another victim who had been shot in the head. The second victim, a young man, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Seattle Fire Department.
The injured security guard was rushed to Harborview Medical Center but later succumbed to his injuries, bringing the death toll to two. Police have secured the area as detectives from various units, including Homicide and Crime Scene Investigation, work to gather evidence and understand the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
As of now, the suspect or suspects have not been apprehended and fled the scene prior to police arrival. The investigation is ongoing, with Homicide Unit detectives assigned to the case.
