Two shot to death in Seattle nightclub parking lot, suspect on the run

SEATTLE -- A double homicide investigation is underway following a fatal shooting in a nightclub parking lot in Seattle's Rainier Beach neighborhood early Sunday morning. The Seattle Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 3:30 a.m. in the 9200 block of Rainier Ave. S.

Upon arrival, officers encountered a security guard who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. While attending to the guard, they discovered a second victim, a young man who had been shot in the head. The Seattle Fire Department pronounced this victim dead at the scene.

The injured security guard was transported to Harborview Medical Center, where he was later declared dead as well. Police have since cordoned off the area to facilitate an investigation by detectives from various specialized units, including Homicide and Crime Scene Investigation.

Currently, the suspects involved in the shooting remain at large, and the circumstances leading up to the incident are still being investigated. Authorities are actively seeking information from the public to aid in their inquiries.
