Two shot to death in Seattle nightclub parking lot, suspect on the run

Two individuals were fatally shot in a nightclub parking lot in the Rainier Beach neighborhood of Seattle early Sunday morning, prompting a double homicide investigation. Seattle Police received reports of the shooting around 3:30 a.m. and responded to the 9200 block of Rainier Ave. S.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a security guard who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. While administering medical assistance, they located another victim who had been shot in the head. Tragically, the Seattle Fire Department declared this second victim, identified as a young man, dead at the scene.

The injured security guard was transported to Harborview Medical Center but succumbed to his injuries shortly after admission. The incident has deeply affected the community, and police have cordoned off the area to facilitate a thorough investigation.

Detectives from various units, including Homicide and Crime Scene Investigation, have been dispatched to the site to gather evidence and piece together the events leading up to the shooting. The suspects responsible for the incident fled before law enforcement’s arrival.
