Two shot to death in Seattle nightclub parking lot, suspect on the run

Two people were shot and killed early Sunday morning in a nightclub parking lot located in Seattle's Rainier Beach neighborhood, prompting a double homicide investigation by the Seattle Police Department. Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 3:30 a.m. in the 9200 block of Rainier Ave. S.
Upon arrival, police found a security guard with multiple gunshot wounds and, while administering aid, discovered another victim who had been shot in the head. The second victim, identified as a young man, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Seattle Fire Department.
The security guard was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries. In the meantime, police cordoned off the area and initiated procedures for a thorough investigation, enlisting the support of the Video, Homicide, and Crime Scene Investigation Units.
As detectives delve into the circumstances surrounding the shooting, it has been confirmed that the suspect or suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities urging anyone with pertinent information to come forward.
