SEATTLE -- A double homicide investigation is underway following a shooting that took place early Sunday morning in a nightclub parking lot in Seattle’s Rainier Beach neighborhood. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on the 9200 block of Rainier Ave. S.

Seattle Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire and discovered a security guard with multiple gunshot wounds. While attending to him, they found another victim who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The Seattle Fire Department pronounced this young man dead at the scene.

The injured security guard was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition but was later declared dead by medical personnel. This tragic event has left the community in shock and mourning.

In the aftermath, police cordoned off the area for investigation, with detectives from the Video, Homicide, and Crime Scene Investigation Units processing the scene. The suspect or suspects have yet to be apprehended, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting are still unclear.
