Two shot to death in Seattle nightclub parking lot, suspect on the run

SEATTLE -- A double homicide investigation is underway following the tragic shooting of two individuals in a nightclub parking lot in Seattle's Rainier Beach neighborhood early Sunday morning. The Seattle Police Department received reports of gunfire in the 9200 block of Rainier Ave. S around 3:30 a.m. and promptly dispatched officers to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers encountered a security guard who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. During their efforts to provide medical assistance, officers discovered a second victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency responders from the Seattle Fire Department pronounced this young man dead at the scene.
The critically injured security guard was transported to Harborview Medical Center but was later pronounced dead, amplifying the severity of this incident. Police established a perimeter around the area as detectives from the Video, Homicide, and Crime Scene Investigation Units began processing the scene for evidence.
As of now, the suspect or suspects involved in the shootings remain at large, and the circumstances leading up to the incident are still being investigated. Detectives from the Homicide Unit have taken charge of the case to uncover any pertinent details.
