Two shot to death in Seattle nightclub parking lot, suspect on the run

SEATTLE -- A double homicide investigation is underway after two individuals were shot and killed in a nightclub parking lot in Seattle's Rainier Beach neighborhood early Sunday morning. Police responded to reports of gunfire in the 9200 block of Rainier Ave. S around 3:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a security guard with multiple gunshot wounds and, while attending to him, found another victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to the head. Tragically, the second victim, identified as a young man, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Seattle Fire Department.
The security guard was rushed to Harborview Medical Center but later succumbed to his injuries. Following the incident, police cordoned off the area, and multiple units, including those specialized in homicide and crime scene investigations, began processing the scene for evidence.
At this time, the suspect or suspects involved in the shooting have not been apprehended, and the motives behind the incident remain unclear. Detectives from the Homicide Unit are actively investigating the case.
