Two shot to death in Seattle nightclub parking lot, suspect on the run

SEATTLE -- A double homicide investigation is underway following a shooting in a nightclub parking lot in the Rainier Beach neighborhood of Seattle early Sunday morning. Two victims were shot around 3:30 a.m. on the 9200 block of Rainier Ave. S, prompting a swift response from the Seattle Police Department.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a security guard suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and provided immediate medical assistance. During this process, they also found a second victim, a young man who had been shot in the head. The Seattle Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene.
The injured security guard was subsequently transported to Harborview Medical Center but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries later. With two lives lost, the investigation has drawn the attention of various specialized units, including Homicide, Video, and Crime Scene Investigation.
Authorities cordoned off the area to allow detectives to gather evidence and piece together the events leading up to the shooting. As of now, the suspect or suspects remain at large, and the investigation continues to unfold.
