Two shot to death in Seattle nightclub parking lot, suspect on the run

Two individuals were shot and killed in a nightclub parking lot in Seattle's Rainier Beach neighborhood early Sunday morning, prompting a double homicide investigation by local authorities. The shooting incident was reported to the Seattle Police Department around 3:30 a.m. in the 9200 block of Rainier Ave. S.
Upon their arrival, police discovered a security guard who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. While providing medical assistance, they also found another victim who had been shot in the head. Tragically, the second victim, identified as a young man, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Seattle Fire Department.
The security guard, critically injured, was transported to Harborview Medical Center but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. Following the incident, police cordoned off the area for investigation, utilizing units at the scene from Homicide, Video, and Crime Scene Investigation.
The suspect or suspects in this case fled prior to the police's arrival, leaving the circumstances surrounding the shooting unclear. Detectives from the Homicide Unit have been assigned to the investigation, seeking to uncover more details.
