Two shot to death in Seattle nightclub parking lot, suspect on the run

SEATTLE -- A double homicide investigation is underway following a shooting that left two individuals dead in the parking lot of a nightclub in the Rainier Beach neighborhood early Sunday morning. The Seattle Police Department received reports of a shooting in the 9200 block of Rainier Ave. S around 3:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a security guard with multiple gunshot wounds and provided immediate medical assistance. During the process, they discovered another victim who had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The Seattle Fire Department declared this young man dead at the scene.
Unfortunately, the injured security guard was later pronounced dead at Harborview Medical Center, bringing the total fatalities to two. Police quickly cordoned off the area, while detectives from various units, including Homicide and Crime Scene Investigation, began processing the scene for evidence.
The suspects involved in the shooting fled prior to law enforcement's arrival, and the circumstances leading up to the incident are still under investigation. Detectives are actively working to gather more information.
