Michael Henson, a 48-year-old resident of Frostproof, was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) on March 28th. His arrest followed an investigation related to a motor vehicle theft and criminal mischief, alongside an outstanding warrant for dealing in stolen property.

Initially, deputies went to Henson's home but found he was not there. Subsequently, they coordinated with him to return so they could meet, leading to his arrival and arrest.

During the search that followed his arrest, deputies discovered two baggies of methamphetamine and a drug pipe in Henson's possession. The PCSO emphasized that Henson knowingly brought illegal substances to the meeting with law enforcement.

As a result of his arrest, Henson was booked into the Polk County Jail on the outstanding warrant, and he faced several additional charges, including possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, motor vehicle theft, and criminal mischief.
