Three individuals were arrested Wednesday for stealing more than $2,000 worth of clothing from the Nike Outlet Store in Camarillo, as reported by the Ventura County Sheriff's Office (VCSO). The incident prompted a police pursuit after deputies attempted to stop their getaway vehicle, leading to a chase toward Simi Valley.

During the pursuit, a helicopter was deployed to assist in tracking the suspects, who fled on foot and sought refuge in a backyard shed in Simi Valley. Law enforcement from several agencies worked together with the VCSO to locate and apprehend the suspects, identified as two San Bernardino men, aged 28 and 24, and a 15-year-old male from Banning.

The 28-year-old suspect faces additional charges, although specific details were not disclosed by the VCSO. Meanwhile, both San Bernardino men were booked into the Ventura Pre-Trial Detention Facility, where they later posted bail.

The 15-year-old suspect was cited for his involvement in the theft and subsequently released to a responsible party. This incident highlights ongoing issues related to retail theft and the collaborative efforts of various law enforcement agencies to combat such crimes effectively.

Overall, the swift response from the VCSO and supporting agencies led to the rapid apprehension of the suspects, demonstrating the commitment to maintaining public safety and addressing criminal activities in the region.
