"Sugarbear" Mckenzie Arrested In Frostproof After Months Of Eluding Polk County Deputies

POLK COUNTY, Fla. - Natasha "Sugarbear" Mckenzie, 36, was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) after evading law enforcement for an extended period. Mckenzie had an outstanding warrant for her arrest due to a probation violation linked to multiple serious charges.
Her initial charges included burglary of a structure, grand theft motor vehicle, possession of Alprazolam, possession of methamphetamine, and introduction of contraband. Mckenzie reportedly failed to maintain contact with her probation officer, prompting the issuance of the warrant.
The PCSO announced on social media that they received a tip regarding Mckenzie's whereabouts. This led deputies to a residence on John Street in Frostproof, where they confirmed with a person at the location that Mckenzie was inside.
Upon entering the residence, deputies located Mckenzie and took her into custody for the violation of probation. Her arrest highlights the efforts of local law enforcement in tracking down individuals who evade justice.
