TBI, Morgan County Sheriff's Office investigating deadly shooting in Oliver Springs
OLIVER SPRINGS, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is assisting the Morgan County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) in investigating a shooting death, as stated by District Attorney Russell Johnson.
The incident occurred on Saturday, March 29, around 10 a.m. Deputies responded to a call at a residence on Big Mountain Hollow Road in Oliver Springs, where they found the body of 51-year-old Brian Burton.
Currently, there are no charges pending in relation to the incident. District Attorney Johnson reached out to the TBI to provide additional resources for the ongoing investigation.
