Deputies: Shots fired into Spartanburg Co. apartment, truck

The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting incident that occurred early Saturday morning at an apartment on Walloon Lane. A resident reported hearing eight gunshots around 4:30 a.m., prompting deputies to investigate the matter.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a bullet hole in the woman's window, which had penetrated through an interior wall and came to rest near her front door. This alarming scene highlighted the potential danger posed by the gunfire in the area.
In addition to the damage to the apartment, deputies uncovered four shell casings in the parking lot adjacent to the building. This evidence suggested that the shooting was part of a more significant event rather than a random act.
Furthermore, another resident reported that his truck had also been targeted, with damage noted on the front grill and a shell casing found in the truck's bed. This raised concerns about safety in the community.
As the investigation continues, authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist in identifying those responsible for the gunfire.
