Police search for man who stole 'significant amount of shrimp' from Geissler's in Granby

GRANBY, CT (WFSB) - The Granby Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying a man who allegedly stole a large quantity of shrimp from Geissler's Supermarket on Bank St.

The incident occurred around 2:00 p.m. on a Sunday when the suspect, described as a white male, reportedly shoplifted not only shrimp but also several other grocery items.

Witness accounts describe the man as having dark hair, a full beard, and tattoos visible on both hands. He was last seen wearing a grey Nike hooded sweatshirt paired with light-colored pants.

Authorities estimate the suspect's height to be approximately six feet tall.
