Several people injured in Orangeburg shooting incident, deputies say

The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday evening. Deputies were dispatched to the scene located in the 1100 block of Five Chop Road shortly after 11 p.m.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell confirmed that multiple individuals sustained injuries during the shooting, but fortunately, there were no reported fatalities.

Ravenell expressed relief that no lives were lost in the incident, stating, "Thankfully, there were no fatalities as a result of this incident."
