Man shot, killed in domestic incident at southwest Atlanta home, police say

ATLANTA -- Atlanta Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at a residence in southwest Atlanta on Sunday evening. Officers responded to a call at a home located on the 100 block of Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard, where they discovered a man in his 40s who had been shot.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the shooting was domestic in nature. The victim's sister, who also resided in the home, is believed to be involved in the incident.

In connection with the investigation, authorities have taken the sister to Atlanta Police Department headquarters for questioning.
