LSP looking for hit-and-run driver who left injured person on side of Denham Springs highway

DENHAM SPRINGS - State troopers are currently seeking the driver involved in a hit-and-run incident that left a pedestrian injured on a Livingston Parish highway. The accident occurred on Saturday night, just before 9 p.m., on Reinninger Road, south of Weiss Road.

The pedestrian was rushed to a hospital and is reported to have sustained serious injuries from the collision.

Authorities believe the vehicle involved in the accident may be a Toyota, which is likely to have noticeable front-end damage, affecting the hood, grille, and windshield.
