Naked man arrested for lewdness in Provo

PROVO -- A man was arrested for lewd behavior in front of two children on Saturday afternoon, as reported by the Provo Police Department. The incident occurred after police received reports of a naked man inside a restaurant near South State Street, who was allegedly following people and flexing his muscles aggressively.
Witnesses also reported that the man, identified as 25-year-old Ralph Laurent, may have been carrying a gun. When officers arrived on the scene, they found Laurent completely naked in the middle of South State Street.
The investigation revealed that Laurent was seen by about a dozen people, including a father who was with his two children in nearby Centennial Park. This alarming situation prompted police to take immediate action.
As a result of the incident, Laurent was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct as well as two counts of lewdness involving a child. The presence of children during the incident heightened the seriousness of the charges against him.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the events leading up to Laurent's arrest, aiming to ensure the safety of the community.
