KCSO assist in Tulare County drug bust, four people arrested

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- A collaboration between the Tulare County Sheriff's Office and various agencies resulted in the arrest of four individuals during a major drug bust across several locations in the county. The operation took place on March 28, 2025, and involved law enforcement from the Porterville Police Department, the Department of Corrections, California Fish & Game, and the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
At approximately 7 a.m., detectives executed multiple search warrants in various towns, including Porterville, Tulare, Poplar, and Earlimart. These searches uncovered illegal operations related to marijuana and cocaine sales, leading to the seizure of around 800 marijuana plants as well as several firearms.
The arrest of four active members of the Norteno gang took place in connection with these illegal activities. The suspects include 25-year-old Fernando Moreno-Morales, 24-year-old Carlos Farfan, 24-year-old David Vielma, and 35-year-old Alejandro Gutierrez, who have since been booked at the South County Jail Facility in Porterville.
