PROVO -- A man was arrested for lewdness in front of two children on Saturday afternoon, as reported by the Provo Police Department. The incident began when police received reports of a naked man in a restaurant near South State Street, described as aggressively flexing his muscles and following patrons.

Upon arrival, officers located 25-year-old Ralph Laurent completely unclothed in the middle of South State Street. Witnesses, including a father and his two children, reported seeing Laurent inappropriately exposed while at Centennial Park.

The situation escalated when another report suggested that the man might be armed. However, law enforcement did not confirm any weapons during the apprehension.

Following an investigation, authorities arrested Laurent, charging him with disorderly conduct and two counts of lewdness involving a child. The incident raised serious concerns about public safety and the impact on the families who witnessed it.

The Provo Police Department continues to emphasize the importance of reporting such behavior to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
