Nashville man wanted for sexual assault arrested after traffic stop in Mt. Juliet

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A Nashville man with pending felony charges was apprehended following a traffic stop in Mt. Juliet on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred when a Mt. Juliet police officer pulled over a vehicle on South Mt. Juliet Road due to its suspended registration. During the stop, the officer identified the driver, a 45-year-old man from Nashville, who was found to have a suspended license and was wanted for felony sexual assault.
Following the discovery, the man was arrested on-site. The Mt. Juliet Police Department indicated that he would be transferred to Nashville authorities to face his charges.
