Stafford Man Arrested After Multi-County Search

STAFFORD, VA -- A wanted man from Colonial Beach was apprehended in Stafford County on Wednesday. Allen Weathers, 46, was sought by law enforcement for multiple felony probation violations across three different jurisdictions.

Deputies spotted Weathers around 11:09 a.m. driving a bright red Chevy Blazer in the 800 block of Kellogg Mill Road. The officers successfully intercepted him as he attempted to elude capture.

As Weathers tried to flee on foot toward a nearby wooded area, he was quickly caught and taken into custody. During his arrest, deputies discovered suspected controlled substances both on his person and inside his vehicle.

Following his arrest, Weathers was served with outstanding warrants and transported to the Rappahannock Regional Jail. He is currently being held without bond.

Charges related to the controlled substances found during the arrest are still pending, as authorities continue their investigation into his illegal activities.
