Sheboygan police investigating early Sunday morning shooting at End Park
SHEBOYGAN - Police are investigating a disturbance that occurred at End Park, located at 1236 Bell Ave., after receiving multiple reports of gunfire around 2 a.m. on Sunday. On arrival, officers discovered numerous spent shell casings scattered along the roadway near the park.
Initial findings suggest that the incident involved a confrontation among approximately 20 individuals in and around the park. During this altercation, at least two people reportedly discharged firearms, according to the police.
Fortunately, as of Sunday evening, there were no reports of injuries, and authorities believe that no one was struck by gunfire. Investigators suspect that the dispute involved two groups who were acquainted with each other, leading them to conclude that there is no ongoing threat to the community.
Police have been able to identify some of the suspects involved in the shooting and are currently working to locate and interview additional individuals connected to the incident. However, as of the latest updates, no arrests have been made in relation to the case.
