'Please come save her', Redding man allegedly stabbed mother in neck with knife

A man in Redding, CT, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his mother in the neck during a domestic dispute. The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Michael Amari, called 911 on Sunday around 12:40 p.m. to report the incident, stating that he had attacked his mother with a knife.
When police arrived, they found Amari at the scene, where he was promptly taken into custody. His mother was immediately transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the stabbing.
Amari has been charged in connection with the incident and is currently held on a $750,000 bond. He is set to appear in court on Monday to face the charges.
