Nude man arrested for lewdness in Provo restaurant | Gephardt Daily

PROVO, Utah, March 30, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) -- A 24-year-old man was arrested by Provo Police on Saturday after allegedly disrobing in a park and entering a nearby restaurant. The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. and began when a call was made to dispatch from someone at the restaurant.
Witnesses reported that the man was flexing his muscles aggressively and following patrons, with one individual claiming he had a gun. However, preliminary investigations revealed that no firearm was found on the suspect when he was taken into custody. Officers located him in the middle of State Street while he was still fully unclothed.
Court documents indicate that numerous witnesses observed the man’s lewd behavior both in the restaurant and the nearby park, including two children who were present with their father. The police report notes the father's account of witnessing the suspect undressing at Bicentennial Park, close to where the incident escalated.
As a result of his actions, the accused faced charges of indecent exposure and other offenses, prompting the police response. Bail for the suspect was set at $5,000.
As of Sunday afternoon, the man was not listed among the inmates at the Utah County Jail, indicating he may have been released on bail or moved elsewhere following his arrest.
