Jimmy Green provided names of players, including Sloukas, Nan, Grant, Bonga, Yabusele, and Fall, as well as one transfer. He wrote that everyone was waiting to see the roster "coming together" and noted that the lineups with PK, Matzoukas, and others had mainly been formed to be useful and ready for the GBL. #Basketball #Μεταγραφές #Ρόστερ (translated)

The Shot Clock wrote that, after four years of evaluating hundreds of players for the highest level, it considered Mbaye Ndiaye's transition from ASVEL to Olympiacos the most misguided assessment it had made. According to the writer, Ndiaye had adapted to Olympiacos's needs and improved his shooting, evolving into a key player for the team. He described it as a great success in scouting, as he believed he was ready to play a leading role in the EuroLeague champions and act as a steady closer. The Shot Clock also highlighted Carr, who, as he wrote, had been scoring consecutive 20-point games, Robinson Earl, whom he described as one of the best players in Europe and noted was playing in the Eurocup, and Lofton. He added that last season's Valencia players —Montero, Badio, De Larrea, and Pradilla— had scattered to different teams. According to him, the value of roster planning was that it increased the chances of identifying players who could elevate a team without guaranteeing infallible selections. Finally, he announced an upcoming detailed article on the subject. #basketball #scouting #αθλητισμός (translated)

Zastro described Panathinaikos' victory by 2-1 as a "great missed opportunity," as he wrote that the team could have scored more and kept a clean sheet. He noted that the "greens" took the lead in the tenth minute, created many chances, and had overwhelming possession, but failed to capitalize on their potential. Zastro pointed out that the goal difference was significant in the tournament to avoid the intermediate round and to enhance the chances of advancing to the quarter-finals. He estimated that the +1 margin was small and added that the 25,000 fans who went to the stadium on a weekday expected a better performance. He urged coach Nistrup to make more substitutions and widen the rotation, while stating that the team needed to be more effective and focused. As examples of the mentality he deemed necessary, he mentioned Antino, Kanguwa, and the two center-backs. He added that the match against Asteras would be tougher and that Nistrup would need to cover for the suspended Kamara. #paofc #Παναθηναϊκός #ποδόσφαιρο (translated)

Tonia Sp mentioned that, in her assessment, Bartzokas seems to be changing his philosophy in managing the roster compared to previous years, giving opportunities to everyone. She added that this approach would be interesting and seemed more reasonable to her, referring to Olympiakos. #OlympiacosBC https://t.co/B0FDWQCdyz #Μπάσκετ #Ολυμπιακός #Ρόστερ (translated)

Óðinn wrote that Željko often achieved victories by margins of 25-30 points, even though he had about half the roster available, without key players and with others in recovery or having high levels of lactic acid. He also mentioned that the team had only six days of preparation and was competing in two leagues with frequent travel, while mocking the opinion that basketball had surpassed him. #PAOBC #μπάσκετ #sport #αθλητισμός (translated)

Jimmy Green wrote that Efes didn't have a particularly impressive roster, but he described the way they played as unbelievable. He estimated that within the next month, a person would return who, as he mentioned, everyone wanted to see again, and he called him the top content creator in Europe. #Εφές #μπάσκετ #επιστροφή (translated)

The Shot Clock wrote that, in its opinion, Rogka Vopoulos' performance the previous day showed the ideal version of the role needed at PAO. It suggested he should play for 8-14 minutes, with selected attempts — even more than he had the previous day, among other things after screens — as a catch-and-shoot threat. It added that specific lineups could cover his defensive weaknesses and asked readers if they see him in PAO's rotation when everyone returns healthy. #ΠΑΟ #Ρογκαβοπουλος #Καλαθοσφαίριση (translated)

Liak.3.0 wrote that Panathinaikos seemed to have returned to the early days of the sport, playing good basketball with an excellent roster and Željko on the bench. He criticized those who, as he said, were constantly focusing on Bi instead of the team and added that everyone understood that last year had not been overcome. #Παναθηναϊκός #μπάσκετ #Αθλητισμός (translated)

Tsimbos assessed that, despite Panathinaikos's victories over weak opponents, the team was already showing signs of the character it would have. He noted that Zocs was trying early on to win over the entire roster in order to utilize it throughout the season, and highlighted the pressure on the ball and the lineups with players who can contribute on both sides of the court. He added that the offense was not functioning as it should yet. https://t.co/HsDh6cNH4d #basketball #paobc #Μπάσκετ (translated)

#OlympiacosBC #Basketball #Euroleague #OlympiacosBC
