August 2026 beim Amtsgericht Mühldorf am Inn einen Insolvenzantrag in Eigenverwaltung gestellt. Am Standort Weiding wurden bis zuletzt unter anderem Kondensmilchprodukte für Bärenmarke hergestellt. Rund 110 Mitarbeiter sind betroffen, ihre Gehälter sind bis einschließlich Oktober über das Insolvenzgeld abgesichert. Betrieb läuft weiter: Almil will den Geschäftsbetrieb zunächst ohne Einschränkungen fortführen und das Unternehmen sanieren. Der Vorstand bleibt im Amt, ein Sachwalter überwacht das Verfahren. Brisant ist die Geschichte des Standorts: 2018 übernahm Almil das Werk von Hochwald und sicherte damals rund 120 Arbeitsplätze. Seit 2020 hält Hochwald wiederum die Mehrheit an Almil.
