Miguel Araiza called *Clayface* a success for DC and praised the direction of James Watkins, which, he wrote, offered a body horror proposal without the usual creative restrictions of many cinematic universes. He described the film as an intimate study of the character of an actor facing the disfigurement of his face and a crisis of identity, and highlighted the performance of Tom Rhys Harries and the terrifying and grotesque tone. Araiza noted that the limited budget and reduced scale hampered some moments, especially a third act that, in his opinion, tried to encompass too much. He also indicated that the film lacked references to the expanded DC universe: a decision that favored the independent story, although at times it made the production seem small. Still, he said the film pointed to an interesting direction for James Gunn's new universe and that he was willing to see more experimentation with other genres in superhero cinema. #DCComics #CineDeSuperhéroes #Películas (translated)

Indonesia responded to Sarita that, in its opinion, censorship would mean banning a movie, not ceasing to finance with public money its pamphlet. It argued that the right to make films did not imply having access to the pockets of those who did not share their ideas and urged those who supported that propaganda to finance it on their own. It also stated that that benefit had ended. #Censura #LibertadDeExpresión #Cine (translated)
