Merit Wager wrote that Finland's Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen had said that Finland should not accept traditions, cultures, or customs that limited girls' freedom. According to the Swedish translation that Wager shared, Valtonen believed that girls and women should be able to decide over their own lives, and that religious or cultural norms should not be used to restrict their freedom. Wager also recounted Valtonen's statement that the National Coalition Party wanted to ban face-covering garments, such as the burqa and niqab, in schools and other educational institutions. Valtonen had said that the government led by the National Coalition Party had strengthened the rights of girls and women by more clearly criminalizing forced marriages and female genital mutilation. She had described female genital mutilation as violence and said that every girl had the right to bodily integrity. According to Wager's account, Valtonen also emphasized that equality, individual freedom, and human rights should not be overridden by references to religion, culture, or tradition. Every girl should have the right to be seen, heard, dream, and shape her future based on her own desires, she had said. #Jämställdhet #MänskligaRättigheter #KvinnorsRättigheter (translated)

He wrote that it had meant a lot to participate in Sladjan's cookbook and concluded by thanking him and saying goodbye. #mediebranschen #inspiration #vilaifrid (translated)

Here I was at 16 years old standing in the standing section at Globen where there were about 60 of us. I would have never dared to dream that we would even have a sold-out end section. Let go of the losing mentality, in the end it's up to us in the stands and we haven't done our part in Globen. Give it your all tonight! https://t.co/ArFM941djl #Globen #supporterskap #fotboll (translated)

At the same time, the rules for family immigration are being tightened, among other things through higher requirements for self-sufficiency and a waiting period of two years before one can bring their family members here. For C, there are two options: parliamentary dependence on V or SD. There is no third way, no matter how much ETR dreams of unicorns and rainbows. What makes a former communist party, steeped in antisemitism, terror romanticism, dictatorship support, and extremism, more acceptable than SD? That is the question that C's performative apostles of goodness do everything to avoid answering. #politik #Centrumpolitik #partipolitik (translated)

What I dislike is selling stocks. Especially stocks in fine companies that I want to own for a long time. But yes, now I am going to buy a home in a place I have dreamed of for a long time… It feels scary, as I am better at saving than spending money… 😅 It is important to remember what the purpose of investing actually is: Capital is ultimately just a tool to give you quality of life, freedom, and the opportunity to realize your dreams. #Investering #Livskvalitet #Ekonomi (translated)
