During Argentina Week in Paris, I accompanied President @JMilei and the Secretary General of the Presidency @KarinaMileiOk in the announcement by @TotalEnergies to invest nearly USD 10,000 million to expand its gas and oil production in Argentina. The French company reported an investment of USD 1,500 million for the offshore electrified submarine wells project Alberdi in Tierra del Fuego. In Neuquén, investment in unconventional gas will continue to maintain and increase production. The company also announced that the oil project in San Roque could reach a production of up to 60,000 barrels per day and represent an investment of around USD 5,000 million. Furthermore, TotalEnergies will continue investing in renewable energy in Argentina, where it already has 300 MW of installed wind capacity. Company representatives highlighted that the reforms promoted by the National Government are generating positive momentum for investment and that TotalEnergies intends to be part of that process. 🇦🇷 🇦🇷 🇦🇷 (translated)

Is it possible to be more absurd? The Minister of Education from the CDU, Karin Prien, is currently threatening us that if we, as the AfD, change the education policy in Saxony-Anhalt, the federal government will reclaim funds! Excuse me? We were democratically elected. We have the mandate from the people for change. And we will not allow ourselves to be blackmailed by a dying CDU! (translated)

They have it in their genes. Brazen forehead. Speaking about the judgments of independent courts as if they were political processes sounds like mockery from the mouth of the communist Prokšanová and the career Bolshevik Babiš to all those who have been murdered, tortured, persecuted, and bullied, for whom the communist regime is responsible. Sorry, but that was really unbearable. (translated)

How to build a career in your parents' company? 1. Don't take the vice president position right away. You need to learn the company from the ground up. Starting as a senior manager would be reasonable. Let everyone see that you're climbing step by step. 2. Don't say you got the job through connections. Say that the owners recognized your potential. Your father has been watching your development for 23 years. No recruiter has spent as much time with the other candidates. 3. Earn the respect of older employees. Don't worry that some of them have been with the company longer than you've been alive. They have experience. You have a fresh perspective. And the owner's phone number saved as "Dad." 4. Don't misuse your position. Treat your father at work like any other boss. If you disagree on something, discuss it professionally. Preferably on a Sunday over chicken soup. 5. Start making changes. After three weeks in the company, you should already notice things that people who have worked there for twenty years don't see. It's natural. They are tainted by experience. 6. Show that you also started from the bottom. From time to time, go down to regular employees and help them for half an hour. It's best to take a picture. In a few years, you will be able to say that you have gone through every level in the company. 7. Don't demand a promotion. Let it come naturally. Manager. Director. Board member. President. Don't rush. You have a full two years for that. 8. Separate your professional life from your personal life. At work, your father is your boss. At home, he is your father. Therefore, leave the conversation about bonuses for the holidays. Grandma can be a good mediator. 9. Ensure financial independence from your parents. Don't take money from them privately. You're not a child anymore. Let the company pay for the car, phone, and fuel card. That's a completely different relationship. 10. After years, tell your story on LinkedIn. Write that you started from zero. That you didn't get anything for free. That the most important things were hard work, humility, and consistency. Don't mention the company from your father. They asked about the road to success. #FIRE (translated)

Spanish media reports that Fernando Alonso will have the highest earnings of his F1 career in the new contract with Aston Martin at the level of 40 million euros. That's more than he received during his time with McLaren-Honda. For 40 million, you can drive at the back of the pack. #F1PL (translated)
