It is necessary to calculate everything well because there is great balance among all the cyclists. The race was very close until the end. So, I think that managing to stay calm was the key to victory. To win, we have to be cold and play well the limited cards we have at our disposal. Emotional reaction? It was one of the hardest weeks I have faced in my career. It was very stressful, we faced many problems, but here we are, a week later, with the title. It is a relief to take all this pressure off my shoulders and my team’s. We are very proud and happy. Present were also the words of Iúri Leitão on the eve, when he explained the emotional reaction after the victory in the omnium in light of the “hardest week of his career,” which added even more significance to the triumph… as it would now to a new medal. #Ciclismo #MundiaisDeCiclismo #Portugal (translated)

E dessa vez a mensagem chegou no para-brisa.
